Year Google & Icann Was Born!

Spread the love

If Google was founded on 4 September 1998, Menlo Park, California, United States, how can Google know when Domain Names were registered in the early 90s unless they get their information from Icann? However Icann was founded in 18 September 1998, which leaves Nominet which was founded in 1996, which brings me to how accurate are the API databases that are being sold on the internet right now? The reason I ask is I sold a domain in 1993 and it has only been registered a few years ago according to an API algorithm which tells me it only goes as far as Icann or Nominet permits, which is not accurate.

    1. I would recommend starting your own blog if that is the case. I do not know off hand of any creative writing blogs you can post comments on, but i’m sure there are some out there. Just type into your browser ‘creative writing blogs’ and see what comes up. Also http://www.ionos.co.uk or .com have a special offer for the first 12 months they will give you a WordPress site for £1.20 per month and I think after that it is £15 per month (not sure) you would have to double check.

    1. Unfortunately, it is not possible to transfer the entire site as it looks on Blogger.
The style of your blog (theme, extensions, fonts, colours, widgets, etc.) will have to be added separately. You can only transfer the data:

      Posts & Pages
      Comments
      Categories
      Media
      Permalinks
      Feed
      Authors
      Traffic

      To start the Migration:

      1) Sign up with WordPress hosting company, Log in to your WordPress website.
      2) Go to Tools -> Import.
      3) Find Blogger on the list (it should be the first option, on top of the list)
4)Click “Install now” link and wait for a few seconds for WordPress to finish installing the plugin.
      5) Export your Blogger blog
      6) Import Blogger to WordPress
      7) Setup permalinks on your new WordPress blog.
      8) Setup redirects for Blogger visitors to WordPress posts

Hope I have answered your question.
